Classrooms amd common rooms facilities are nicely and properly designed for students needs. Friendly atmosphere. Love that they have organised activities to promote interactions with other students of different classes. A great entry into learning korean language, not as easy as I thought but after 3 weeks I feel like it was sufficient to provide a better understanding of the lamguage and where I want to be with it. ♡
I can recommend this school very much. They are fun, friendly and well organized. My Korean improved a lot during my stay here. The classes are demanding in a good way and if you learn the vocabulary and the grammar a bit in your free time your skill will improve quickly. I also loved the activities, that the school provided like Tae Kwon Do, Student Night, Traditional Games and so on. Thanks a lot to the Lexis Team for having me.
I think the staff is very friendly. It was easy to understand everything and the orientation lesson helped a lot Update: I was at lexis for 4 weeks in the beginner class and i approved a lot! The teacher was very nice and it was easy making friends in class. You get to know so many different nationalities. I would recommend to already know hangeul so you don’t have to waste a week in the foundation class as you can learn it easily by yourself. Because the beginner class (after foundation) takes about 4 weeks i would recommend staying at least 4 weeks to get to learn all of the important basics in this class. After the 4 weeks the lessons are repeating itself in the beginner class so you can level up to the elementary class that does have a longer rotation than the beginner one so you will probably stay here for a while. I lived at the student residence and had a roommate for two weeks that helped me in the beginning. For the last two weeks I had the room for myself. You have to buy things like dish soap, cleaning supplies and toilet paper for yourself but a lot of students just leave what they bought here so in the end I didn’t need to buy a lot and used the leftovers. The room had a lot of space with little furniture but that didn’t really bother me. Though there is room to improve I didn’t feel uncomfortable in the residence and felt a little bit sad when I had to leave the place that already felt like my home although I only lived there for 4 weeks. I will cherish the experiences and friends I made here and will hopefully be able to come back next year!
